Lodermeier’s completed the installation of the steel beam base for the feed mill update at Ag Partner’s this week. The base of the structure is manufactured by Lowry Mfg. and will hold new loadout bins for the feed mill.
The update at Ag Partner’s will allow the new system to drop multiple tons of product at a time. Lodermeier’s grain equipment team is heading the project and completing the installation for all the components and products.
The feed mill update will include a new two-ton scale hopper from Lowry Mfg. with a walk around mezzanine on top of the hopper and an 18” air gate on the bottom of the hopper. The update will also include nine screw augers from Lowry Mfg. with the augers being 10 inches in size.
Tote bag hoppers will be a component of the feed mill. There will be six tote bag systems from Easy Automation and six 350 TPH screw augers with 5hp motors and gearbox drives. Inlet hoppers from the tote bags to the augers will be installed.
A 14” round bottom drag conveyor from Schlagel will be installed to transfer drag to the mixer.
You can see the load out/ingredient hopper bins waiting to be installed in these pictures. The rectangular design of these bins allows them to be placed side by side. These welded steel bins are customized to hold and unload premixed feed products for Ag Partner’s. The hopper bottom allows for efficient load-out of bin access.
Check back soon to see these load out bins placed on top of the new steel beam base.
